Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what UWish LLC ("The Wishing App," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and your choices. We built The Wishing App to respect your privacy: our approach is based on anonymized, aggregated trends, not on selling your individual data.

1. What we collect

You give us: account information (name, email, username) and any wishes or content you create.

Payment information: when you buy tokens, payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We don't store your full card number; the processor handles that. We receive limited details such as the last four digits and transaction status.

Automatically: device and usage data (app interactions, device type, app version, general region-level location, and similar diagnostics) to keep the Service working and improve it.

2. How we use it

To provide and operate the Service; process token purchases; maintain security and prevent abuse; respond to support requests; understand usage so we can improve features; and meet legal obligations.

3. How we use aggregated data

We may create and use anonymized, aggregated insights, for example overall trends in how features or wish themes are used, that do not identify you and cannot be traced back to an individual.

Anonymous means anonymous. When you toss a coin, your wish isn't tied to your account in any way we can read. We don't store it in a form that lets us, our team, or anyone with admin access trace it back to you. What we do keep, for the well pages and our own understanding, is a short list of themes (like "healing" or "gratitude") with zero connection to who wrote them or what they actually said.

This isn't a policy we're promising to follow. It's how the system is built. If you ever want to check our word against the code, ask.

4. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not monetize individual user data. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Who we share with

Only: service providers who help us run The Wishing App (such as our payment processor, hosting, and analytics providers) under confidentiality obligations; and authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety. If The Wishing App is ever involved in a merger or acquisition, data may transfer as part of that transaction, and we'll notify you.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and delete, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, which we don't do. 8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If we learn we have, we'll delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. We'll post the new version with a new effective date and notify you of material changes.
